Eleven to Twelve

Carter turned 11 on November 26, 2018.  He celebrated his birthday after spending 10 days in Idaho while mom and dad were in Italy. Carter spent most of this year in the 5th grade with Mrs. Rodieck as his teacher at Warren-Walker.

Carter played for the Sharks basketball team where he thrived under the coaching of Coach D. She made a positive impact on Carter both on and off the court.

This year, like all the others, included time with friends both at home and at school. A special highlight this year was a trip with cousins to Alaska to celebrate Grandma Cheney’s 70th birthday and two weeks of having Chinese exchange students in our home.

This year also was the end of an era – the Cohen family moved away. Over a decade of the kids playing together in the cul-du-sac, asking the dads to be “snow monster,” bubbles, bikes, and playing in the sprinklers in Jan/Feb came to a close.
