Ten to Eleven

Carter turned 10 on November 26, 2017.  He celebrated his birthday with his cousins and other family in Idaho.  This was a first!  There was a fun swimming party at Thousand Springs with pizza.  Carter shared the party with his cousin Zoe who was turning 16.  Grandma Cheney made Buttermilk Brownies and Grandma Jones made Banana Cake.  Carter is in fourth grade in Ms. Malone’s class at Warren-Walker.  He loves to play with his friends, enjoys his pets (fish, hamster, cat, dog) and tries to get as much time as he possibly can on his iPad, computer and the TV.   Carter started off fourth grade with some challenges . . . it was A LOT more difficult than 3rd grade.  He took the challenge head-on has come out on top.  He still loves math and does a great job on his book reports.  Working on the State Report (he chose Idaho as his state) was a ton of work, but he was up for the challenge.  Spring soccer league was on the agenda.  Then summer basketball.  There was an overnight 4th grade trip to San Francisco + a trip to Yellowstone with Mom, Dad, Papa, and Grandma Jones.  This was C’s first year of going to the Camas County Fair without adults and for attending the street dance.  Carter continues to get good grades thanks to lots of hard work.  He loves playing with the kids in the neighborhood and hanging out with friends from school.
